Big Give + Your Opportunity to Serve

On December 3, we will have our Big Give during all of our services at Westside. However, if it is more convenient, you may give online now!

As our church family prays about what God will lead them to give, Westside has committed to give away the first $50,000 of this weekend’s offering away to organizations in Leavenworth County that are reaching the lost, caring for the least, or serving the last. We are committed to building an Unshakeable Faith and releasing God’s Unshakeable Love.

We have opportunities where you can serve in our community.

Community of Hope Night Shelter: Serve a 3-hour shift at the night shelter.

Project Sunshine: Greet Richard Warren Intermediate students as they come to school.

Saturday Community Meals: Serve a meal and help defeat weekend hunger.

Westside Meet the Need: Receive emails when a family is in need of a meal. You can sign up to provide dinner.

We are partnering with these local middle schools to supply their food pantry with items kids may take home to have dinner or weekend meals.

Please choose plastic jars as students must transport these items home in their back packs.

Caring for Foster Families

Are you interested in supporting kids in foster care, or want to but don’t know where to start? Join us as we interview a panel of foster care parents from our church family. You will hear their stories and discover ways to support foster families. This will also help those who are interested in becoming a foster family.

Driveway Movie Night + BLESS

We are on mission together loving Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and sharing Jesus in our neighborhoods. We want to empower you to be on this mission to B.L.E.S.S. your neighbors by throwing a Driveway Movie Night.

Why host a Driveway Movie Night? One reason, to build relationships with your neighbors and create the opportunity to eat together and get to know one another’s story. This is also a great way to listen to their story and learn how you can pray for them. You may even have the chance to share Jesus by praying with a neighbor during your Driveway Movie Night!

We have created a few Driveway Movie Night Kits to help you pull this off. Or you can use your own tv or projector to throw your own Driveway Movie Night. If you would like to learn more or if you’d like to reserve a Driveway Movie Night Kit, click the link below.

Easter Together + Your Generosity at Work

We have a vision to influence people to live on mission with us. Easter is a great opportunity to come to a service, serve at a service, and invite someone to a service. 

Help us make a local impact on hunger by bringing some non-perishable food with you when you come on Easter.

We are also supporting a full New Testament translation in the heart language of an unreached people group.
Thank you for your faithful generosity. It is making this possible!

We have a vision to influence 10,000 people to live on mission with us by 2030 and your faithful and sacrificial generosity will help place an audio bible in the hands of an unreached people group. Many will be impacted by this amazing opportunity.

Because of your regular generosity, we are able to give away the biggest offering of our year to community partners in our county. As you continue to regularly give, please be praying about how you can give above and beyond to support local organizations who are making a difference in our community.

“Wonder” Ends this Sunday

You don’t want to miss the ending to our series, “Wonder.” We look forward to seeing you here, or, if you need to stay safe at home, joining you for church @home.

At the Movies is Coming!

We start at the Movies on December 6. This is a great season to invite someone to join you for a service or to watch online. We will not re-broadcast these services or be able to make them available on demand. You will have to watch them live on campus or online at church @home.

Jesus often told modern stories to share a kingdom truth. We will be using popular Christmas stories to share Biblical truths. It’s a great time to invite someone to church!

KiDS @ 11:00 am Beginning on Nov 8 + Thanksgiving Offering

KiDS Services @ 11:00am
Beginning November 8

We will have two opportunities on Sundays for you to bring your KiDS 6 weeks to 5th Grade, at 9:30am & 11:00am. Our KiDS rooms are safe and clean and your KiDS will have a fun time during either service opportunity as they learn from scripture and connect with others.

Thanksgiving Offering | November 29

Because of your faithful generosity we will be giving away 100% of our offerings on Thanksgiving weekend to organizations in our county. Please begin to pray about how God may lead you to give above and beyond in response to His goodness and provision to you.
