Host a Driveway Movie Night through July 31, 2023

Purpose: To BLESS the families in your neighborhood by hosting them for a movie in your driveway!

How to make it a blockbuster night:

  1. Sign up for your night (if you want to use the Driveway Movie Night Kit) or gather your own gear

  2. Begin praying for the families in the homes that are in your neighborhood.

  3. Pick up the invites for your Driveway Movie Night from Ryan Agnew (He’ll contact you once you sign up) or make your own invites.

  4. Pass out your invites to your neighbors 3-10 days away from your Driveway Movie Night. (Use the space at the bottom of the invite to add any additional info, like what to bring, what you’ll do, or parking directions)

  5. Recruit your neighbors to help you throw it and have fun!

Plug and Play

We have a few plug and play “Driveway Movie Night Kits” for you to use.

All you need to provide is your own source for playing the movie*.

  • Projector

  • Sheet for a screen

  • HDMI and audio cables
    (HDMI connects to your streaming source)

  • Outdoor speaker

  • At the Movie Invites

  • KiDSGiG Invites

  • Neighbor Post Card Invites
    (For you to invite your neighbors)

*Providing your own media source

  • Use your laptop with HDMI out

  • Use your Roku, Amazon Fire TV,
    Google Chromecast, Apple TV, etc

  • Use your DVD/Blueray player

B.L.E.S.S. Your Neighbors

Our B.L.E.S.S. strategy is the best way to engage and make this event have a meaningful impact.

Begin in prayer: Start praying for your neighbors now.

Listen: Make time to listen to their stories. Get to know them.

Eat: Grill out and have everyone bring something to eat together. Or keep it simple and provide the popcorn and drinks.

Serve: Serve them and invite a neighbor or two to help you pull it off. It’s great when we serve one another.

Share Jesus: You may be able to share Jesus by simply praying for a neighbor who is needing prayer.

Ideas to Pull off a Blockbuster Hit

  • Grill out! Have your neighbors bring food, too. Or just provide popcorn and keep it simple.

  • Ask your neighbors to bring a chair.

  • Provide lawn games or ask a neighbor to help with this.

  • Set up the fire pit (be sensitive to KiDS)

  • Invite your neighbors 3-10 days out from your scheduled date.
