We need community.

Joining a group as a Next Step means that we are recognizing our need to be in community with others.

Being part of a group means that we can experience life with others who are following Jesus. In a smaller group setting we are able to ask questions of other Jesus followers, share our own experiences in following Jesus, encourage each other, reach out to those who are far from God, help and serve others with good works, pray together, eat together, and even have fun together.

The life God desires for us is to experience life together with others. Jesus says that His followers are His body and that we are all different parts of the body. Joining a group as a Next Step is critical for all of us to experience the life God desires for us.
