We love our military families and are so grateful that you are a part of our Westside family. This dinner will serve as an opportunity to celebrate our time together with each other. We also want to know how we can best support those who are moving and preparing for their next chapter in life. As a part of our church family, you do not walk alone.

We will honor all of our military families who will be PCS’ing to their next location. We will take a moment in the service to pray for our military families and give a gift to them.

This is a free breakfast for men to connect with other men and grow in their faith. We will have a special guest speaker. Donations can be made for those who want to help cover the cost of breakfast.

We are celebrating Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for our salvation with the United As One churches in Leavenworth County. We will have a special Good Friday Service with participating churches.

We will have the joint service at Lansing Middle School.

KiDS and teens are welcome to join their families in this service. This will be a solemn celebration that includes music, prayer, scripture and more.

Our Middle and High Schoolers will combine with the Youth For Christ from Fort Leavenworth combine for a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt - Normandy style!

As you face the uphill battle of finding glow in the dark eggs for your team, you will need to have stealth and agility to avoid being spotted by one of the spotlights. Wear dark clothing or camouflage! Dinner will be provided.

Rides:
For those who need a ride to access post, we will leave the church building at 6:30pm. Students will return at 9:30pm.

We want to let the Lansing school staff know how much we appreciate them and encourage them. We will be serving breakfast to al the staff at the Lansing Intermediate and Middle Schools. Sign up to bring a breakfast dish or to serve at the school.

We are loving Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and sharing Jesus when we serve one another. How we serve each other is a model to the world of the goodness of our God. We need you to serve and you need to serve within the body of Christ.

Middle & High Schoolers

Serve as a group leader with Middle Schoolers during the 9:30am Sunday morning service. Or you can serve in our High School service on Wednesday nights at 6:30pm.

First Impressions

Help people feel welcome by serving during a service on Sundays. Or you can help in our hospitality during one of the services.

Worship Arts

Want to join our worship band or serve in our production crew to make Sundays a meaningful experience for all who come—then join our crew.

Safety Team

Are you medically trained or someone who is trained to keep people in our environment safe? Join our safety team.

We have many ways for people to serve behind the scenes setting up for Sundays, groups, or events.

1st Grade + will join us for the Christmas Services.

Grade School, Middle, & High School Services will resume the week of January 7.

It’s a KiDS Event that is BiG Enough for Parents TOO!

We want to celebrate Jesus coming to save us with your KiDS at our family Christmas party. Join us for an evening of fun, food, and crafts. And the best part of all… is being a part of the KiDS Christmas Choir! Your KiDS will work on the songs every Sunday until Jingle Jam and we want to share the fun with you on this special night. We can’t wait to show you!

Because of the Unshakeable Generosity, Westside is purchasing a Chick-fil-A sandwich for every employee at Richard Warren (Intermediate/Middle School), David Brewer Elementary, and Henry Elementary.

We will serve lunch and provide dessert.

We have listened to administrators and teachers and we believe the best way we can serve our schools is by serving those who are serving our students. Many of our educators and school staff have had to go above and beyond over the last two years with staff numbers at all-time lows.

One of the best ways we can show our school staff that we see them and value them is by serving alongside them. Prayerfully consider volunteering at a local school or becoming a substitute teacher. There is a large deficit of substitute teachers in Leavenworth County.

We will host an Information Huddle with Amy Jo Troyer, of the Leavenworth School District, on October 29 at 1:00pm at Westside Leavenworth in The Loft.
