Events
We will have normal services on Memorial Day Weekend at 8:15, 9:30, or 11:00am. We will not have Grade School, Middle School, or High School Services. We will have Early Childhood ministries at all services.
We are grateful for those who have given their lives to protect our freedoms.
UPDATE: Due to muddy conditions at the event site, Nightstrike is postponed until further notice. We anticipate conducting Nightstrike in May, so stay tuned for further updates!
WSM and YFCMilitary are joining together and hosting a nighttime event at the Paynes House. Teams will compete to reach the objective and score points for the team by not getting caught or spotted. The game will run from 8-9pm after which will be a fire with hot cocoa and s'mores. All MS and HS students are welcome.
Students should dress in dark clothes and MUST have a flashlight with them.

We are celebrating Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for our salvation with the United As One churches in Leavenworth County. We will have a special Good Friday Service with participating churches.
We will have the joint service at Lansing Middle School.
KiDS and teens are welcome to join their families in this service. This will be a solemn celebration that includes music, prayer, scripture and more.
Our Middle and High Schoolers will combine with the Youth For Christ from Fort Leavenworth combine for a glow in the dark Easter egg hunt - Normandy style!
As you face the uphill battle of finding glow in the dark eggs for your team, you will need to have stealth and agility to avoid being spotted by one of the spotlights. Wear dark clothing or camouflage! Dinner will be provided.

For those who need a ride to access post, we will leave the church building at 6:30pm. Students will return at 9:30pm.
There will not be a WSM High School service on March 5, 2024. We will see you next week as High School Services resume at 6:30pm.
We are loving Jesus, becoming like Jesus, and sharing Jesus when we serve one another. How we serve each other is a model to the world of the goodness of our God. We need you to serve and you need to serve within the body of Christ.

We have many ways for people to serve behind the scenes setting up for Sundays, groups, or events.

Impact: Stocking Stuff at Woodland Village
December 17, 3:00pm
Join us in spreading Christmas cheer at Woodland Village by decorating your vehicle trunk/bed. This family friendly event is open for everyone, even if don’t decorate a trunk/bed. We will be filling the vehicle trunks/beds with toys and treats for the KiDS of Woodland Village to fill their stockings.
Note we are starting 30 minutes earlier!
This is a white elephant gift exchange, so bring a gift (Max value of $20). We will celebrate the Christmas season with food, games, prizes, and a white elephant swapstravaganza. Come celebrate with us!
All Grade Schoolers and Middle Schoolers, and High Schoolers will join us in the main service for the start of our new series, “He Shall Be Called.”
We will have classes open for our Early Childhood.
We will not have High School service tonight to allow students to spend time with their family for Thanksgiving.
Middle & High Schoolers, invite your friends to join you at our annual Friendsgiving in the Loft. We will be having a baked potato buffet.
What to Bring: Your favorite topping or a dessert to share.
Potatoes, chili, sour cream, and shredded cheese will be provided.
After dinner, we will have board games to enjoy with friends.

This is an opportunity for your whole family to join our Westside Family in throwing a trunk-or-treat for Woodland Village in Leavenworth, KS.
Register below to decorate your trunk or bed to allow the KiDS at Woodland Village to walk down the line of vehicles and fill their bags with treats and toys.

We will have all three services on Labor Day weekend (8:15, 9:30, or 11:00am). We will only have Early Childhood classes open for KiDS 6-weeks to PreK. There will be no Grade School, Middle School, or High School services. We are thankful for all those who serve in our NextGen environments to build their faith.

Help us bring the KiDSGiG experience to Woodland Village. Serve with us as we spend time building relationships with the KiDS in Woodland Village by playing together, doing some crafts, singing, and sharing the love of Jesus for them.
Our High Schoolers are going to World's of Fun/Ocean's of Fun! Register your Middle Schooler below and consider being a sponsor.

We will not have High School Service. High Schoolers are encouraged to sign up to serve at KiDSGiG. The Loft will resume on Wednesdays on August 2 at 6:30pm.
There will not be any Grade School services, Middle School service, or High School Underground on July 2, 2023. We want to give all our leaders who serve a weekend to worship with their families.
Early Childhood rooms will be open for all services. Parents can check their PreK and Under KiDS in prior to service.
Dad, we want to celebrate Father’s Day with you! We know how hard it is to lead with love and we are grateful for you. Thank you for loving others the way Jesus has loved you!
We will be in week 2 of our At the Movies Series. All Dads will get all you can eat popcorn and maybe something else to go with it!

All Middle and High Schoolers are welcome to join us for a Saturday of Ultimate Kickball. Create a team of 6-8 or be drafted to a team previous to the activities. Sign up on the link below.
Dinner and Drinks will be provided. All students should wear athletic shoes that are closed toe and clothes they do not mind getting dirty.
