We are always grateful for the opportunity to serve with your partnership in the Lord’s vineyard.

Thank you for trusting us with all your support, as the Church family; we are still committed to faithful service as we fulfill the great commission of Making Disciples of all nations, by the grace of God.
Let me briefly update you about the following areas of our ministry engagements.

  • Family Food package Ministry

  • Bible School Ministry

  • The Marriage ministry

  • Children Ministry

  • Discipleship and Church membership

    FAMILY FOOD PACKAGE MINISTRY

We are grateful to God that through your partnership, many families are reached out for food packages. Our Church is located in a semi urban setting where land is so fragmented that farming cannot be practiced. Our people live on a hand to mouth lifestyle. This has brought about scarcity of food and the most affected are children who become malnourished, suffer from opportunistic infections which has led to death and school dropout, we as a church have always helped to provide essential food stuffs to address this danger.

BIBLE SCHOOL MINISTRY

Our Bible school training ministry to church leaders around Uganda is continuing to expand, we are currently conducting one in Eastern Uganda and over 80 church leaders both online and physical class are in attendance. This is aimed at equipping and empowering ministers with leadership skills, Bible interpretation, Discipleship etc such that they can effectively serve their congregations and preach the gospel for both Physical and Spiritual community transformation.

THE MARRIEDS MINISTRY

At Church, we have developed a strong Marrieds ministry; the marrieds meet every Sunday for 1 hour between the 2 services. They discuss issues concerning marriage life, this gives an opportunity for them to discuss and find solutions to many of the challenges facing marriages that lead to divorce, child neglect, domestic violence, poverty etc. These classes have always helped to strengthen and restore marriages. We had a Marrieds retreat and we enjoyed good discussions, refreshments, games, interaction and food, the retreat happens twice a year.

THE CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

As a church family, we focus so much on, equipping, Discipling and empowering children because we know that Children have much influence over their families and that when we train them in the way of the Lord, when they grow up, they won’t depart from it(Proverbs 22;6)

Every Saturday meals and discipleship classes are still continuing. Children bring their friends even from the unbelieving families. It is a blessing that they call church home.

Children on 30th of March 2024 had an Easter party celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, Cutting a cake, getting a food package, learning more about the death and resurrection of Jesus and sharing a meal.

About 3 weeks ago, Police called me to rescue 2 young girls who were being abused by their paternal aunt after being abandoned by their father and mother, I and my team responded quickly and rescued these beautiful girls, they had lashes all over their bodies because they used to be caned every day, they were malnourished, they were doing hard labor yet starving without food. They are now in our good custody, taking care of their well-being especially food, clothing and medication until they will go back to school in May 2024.

DISCIPLESHIP AND CHURCH MEMBERSHIP

As a church, the more we impact the community, the more Christ is increasing us numerically. 2 weeks ago, we baptized over 40 people, though others were from different neighboring Churches, but we thank God that we get new converts in our community.

Last Sunday, we welcomed new members who joined us this first quarter of the year in our church. We cut a cake and gave thanks and they pledged their commitment to the ministry. We had over 19 people.
