Jesus is the Sovereign King who reveals God to us and brings us into the Kingdom of God.
The Cross of Shame (Life's Toxic Game of Fame and Shame week 5)
Jesus endured the cross of shame, bearing its humiliation, so we could become children of God. We experience God’s joy as His kids. A joy that shame has no power to take away.
The Sneaky Thief (Life's Toxic Game of Fame and Shame: week 4)
We don’t have to fear the truth. While the truth may hurt, it heals.
The Celebrity Trap (The Toxic Game of Fame and Shame week 3)
It takes humility to deny myself, daily die to myself, and follow Jesus to glorify Him and experience true life.
Name for Myself (Life's Toxic Game of Fame and Shame week 2)
By putting our trust in Jesus, we are made significant and free to live to make Jesus' name great.
Built For This (Life's Toxic Game of Fame & Shame: week 1)
God has redeemed us through Jesus Christ. God knows our name and because of Jesus Christ’s work, we are His! We no longer have to play the toxic game of fame and shame.
Reflect Forward (New Year's Eve 2023)
It is important for us to silence the noise, stop our activity, and reflect on our experiences and the truth in scripture we’ve learned.
Behold (Christmas Eve 2023)
For those who stop and behold Jesus, see Him as Savior, gaze at His majesty, and fix their eye on Him as their Lord—they will never be the same again. God longs to give life to those who behold His Son.
Prince of Peace (He Shall Be Called: week 4)
Discover how Jesus, as the Prince of Peace, offers a path to wholeness and tranquility in our lives. This insightful message highlights how peace is more than just the absence of conflict, but a state of completeness brought by faith.
Join us in exploring how to find true peace amidst life's brokenness, as prophesied in Isaiah and fulfilled through Jesus
Everlasting Father (He Shall Be Called: week 3)
Jesus is called the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.
Jesus perfectly reflects the Father in heaven. He has three prominent roles which invite us to a response of surrender. These three roles will allow Jesus to “settle” and heal our brokenness, just like the people of Israel in Isaiah’s time.
Whatever struggle you have in this advent season, Jesus teaches us that we can trust Him. There is no brokenness we can experience that is too big for our Eternal Father to help us in. Jesus’ life and sacrifice provides a perfect picture of how our Father in Heaven sees us as His creation. He loves us.
This advent season is the perfect time to surrender all things to Jesus, and let Him give you new life in return.
Mighty God (He Shall Be Called: week 2)
When we worship God, both as a community of believers and individually, we sing; we have joy; we extol Him; and we thank Him. Worship becomes our response as we understand who God is.
Wonderful Counselor (He Shall Be Called: week 1)
We can share the Hope we have in a Wonderful Counselor. We can share the wisdom we receive in a Wonderful Counselor. We can share the life we find in a Wonderful Counselor by simply praying with others and helping them meet the Wonderful Counselor, Jesus.
Gospel (Solid Rock: week 5)
Grace-based giving is our response to God’s blessings. The multifaceted impact of grace-based giving meets real needs, glorifies God, and fosters unity among Christians.
Generosity (Solid Rock: week 4)
God is boundless in His generosity and His desire for us to excel in the grace of giving. This message is woven into scripture. Our call to be faithful stewards has a profound impact on those around us. As we use our blessings for acts of generosity, we inspire others to acknowledge God's grace through our giving!
Joy (Solid Rock: week 3)
True joy is experienced when we fully depend on God. Being fully dependent is a mindset with practical action. The Apostle Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 9:6-9 reinforces that generosity is the expression of our dependence, gratitude, and willful desire to trust God in all things. Out of this mindset and action, we honor God and experience His joy. A cheerful giver is loved by God and blessed abundantly.
Desire (Solid Rock: week 2)
True generosity begins with a desire, and it is matched with the action of giving. When desire and action align with God’s purpose, they are powerful.
Grace (Solid Rock: week 1)
As we learn about God, we discover He is generous, and we respond to the grace of His generosity by learning the spiritual discipline of giving generously.
Joy Filled Legacy (Defiant Joy: week 3)
Some people leave a legacy of wealth, some of accomplishments, some of relationships, and others leave legacies they probably wouldn’t be so proud of. What kind of legacy do you hope to leave through your life?
Joy Filled Life (Defiant Joy: week 2)
Because of His love for us, we can receive a power that is not our own; it is a power from the Holy Spirit that stands up in the face of a world that can and will beat us down. It is a power that brings joy regardless of circumstance, joy in the face of the lies of the world, and a defiant joy that is an inheritance for all those who call upon the name of Jesus, submit to Him as Lord, and receive Him as Savior.
Joyful Inheritance (Defiant Joy: week 1)
Because of His love for us, we can receive a power that is not our own; it is a power from the Holy Spirit that stands up in the face of a world that can and will beat us down.
