Our insecurities cause us to find our identity in what we do, what we look like, and what people think of us. Following the teachings of Jesus reveals a truth that will set us free from lies that distort our identity. Confessing our shortcomings and failures leads to change and forgiveness. Jesus is Truth. When you know the Truth, Truth changes you.

TALK IT OVER (Discuss One or More):

Ralph was a bad guy. He wanted to be good. What are areas that people seem to struggle with on their own which are bad for them and bad for others.

Read John 8:31-32. What do these verses claim about truth? How important is truth? Is truth relative? Is truth absolute? In what ways does your life demonstrate that you are a seeker of truth?

Vanellope’s identity was that she was a glitch. What is your core identity? How can your identity be redeemed? What are you willing to do to be redeemed?

At the end of this movie Ralph is back to destroying buildings and Vanellope still glitches. Has anything really changed? How does Jesus really make a difference in our lives?

Read 2 Corinthians 5:16-17. How has the new creation already come? What is preventing you from embracing a new creation in your own life?
